MONCHHICHI has reached this weekend the #1 rating spot among all kids TV channels and all animation and live action TV kids and family programming in Spain. The series which is produced by Technicolor Animation with worldwide distribution by PGS Entertainment and based on the famous 40 years in the market iconic plush from Sekiguchi, has been a consistent top ranked series at CLAN TVE.

MONCHHICHI has achieved an outstanding 24,3% market share with 165.000 viewers only this Saturday, more than any other kids and family program nationwide. MONCHHICHI is entering the 5th month of non stop broadcast on primetime slots 7 days a week with several episodes per day. This January, MONCHHICHI is the third leading kids property among all channels. The brand appears 4 times in the top 30 programs list among all Spanish kids networks! The successful results are based on a very strong exposure at the leading kids channel CLAN TVE with a long term strategy towards building the brand nationwide with Ypsilon. Actually, Ypsilon is responsible of securing the best slots for all the brands represented and it is committed to the success of the properties with a strong team in house and key relationships.

Ypsilon Films, parent company of Ypsilon Licensing with the Multitrade Group, has sold the two seasons of MONCHHICHI to CLAN TVE and CANAL PANDA SPAIN joining forces and working closely with the PGS team. Ypsilon Licensing was appointed exclusive licensing agent in Iberia operating with the TV networks to build up a successful long term broadcast and licensing program starting with key partners in categories such as toys, books, puzzles and sticker albums. Silverlit is worldwide Master Toy and Toy Partner distributes figures and playsets in Iberia. Sekiguchi has created the website in Castilian and new games are linked to the CLAN website following a successful contest in the channel. Meet&Greet endeavours are scheduled for this year with the participation of influencers to support the product launch.
